The Chinese pesticide industry has invested 1.9 billion Yuan in fix asset in the month of October 2010, jumped by 33.6% year on year, reports Agropages. The investment on chemical pesticide was 1.15 billion Yuan, up 36.9%, while investment on biopesticide was 0.75 billion Yuan, up 28.8%.
The cumulative investment for the period of January to October this year was 20.46 billion Yuan, which accounting for 44.5% of the planned investment, posted a 29.0% rise. The investment on biopesticide industry was 8.11 billion Yuan, grown by 31.0%, and the proportion for total investment on pesticide has increased by 6.7% to 39.7%, while the investment on chemical pesticide was 12.34 billion Yuan, up 16.2%.
During period of January to October, 432 investment projects were under constructed, up 4.6% year on year. The number of the newly undertook projects was 276, down slightly from last year, hereinto 177 chemical pesticide projects, grown by 13.2%. The number of the completed projects was 201, grown by 33, including 147 chemical pesticide projects, grown by 26 than that of the last year. |
