ACTION: Fungicide; Seed Treatment/Protectant.
USE: Foliar and seed treatment for cereals. Broad spectrum for fruits (grapes, pome, stone, tropical), oil seed rape, potatoes, soybeans, sugarbeets, vegetables, and wheat.
FORMULATIONS: Foliar: emulsifiable concentrate, water dispersible concentrate, suspension concentrate. Seed treatment: water dispersible powder, flowable concentrate.
PREMIX PARTNERS: Anthraquinone; Azoxystrobin; Carbendazim; Chlorothalonil; Cyproconazole; Cyprodinil; Dinocap; Fenpropidin; Fenpropimorph; Fludioxonil; Mandipropamid; Metalaxyl-M; Propiconazole; Tebuconazole; Thiamethoxam.

Identification

COMMON NAME: Difenoconazole.

Chemistry

COMPOSITION: 3-chloro-4-[4-methyl-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl]phenyl 4-chlorophenyl ether(1).

Environmental Guidelines

WATER SOLUBILITY: 15 mg/l at 25℃.
HAZARDS: Fish, Daphnia: Toxic. Bird, Honeybee, Earthworm: Nontoxic.
SOIL PARTICLE ADSORPTION: Low soil mobility by strong adsorption to soil particles.

Safety Guidelines

TOXICITY: Tech. (Rat): Oral LD50 1453 mg/kg; Dermal LD50 2010 mg/kg. (Rabbit): Nonirritant to eyes, skin.
HANDLING/STORAGE CAUTIONS: Avoid skin contact and vapor inhalation.

Emergency Guidelines

FLASHPOINT: >63℃ (Score* EC).
FIRST AID: Get medical aid. Eyes: wash with plenty of water. Skin: wash with water and remove contaminated clothing. Ingestion: administer medicinal charcoal in large quantity of water.
